Due to a scheduling issue, mainly with trying to get hotel rooms booked with the Ride for Sight being in town the same weekend, Fly your Car in Gander has been moved to June 21st.

you can still go to the facebook page and register for the event, you will see the post in the Fly your Car in Gander facebook group.  There will be a list updated as folks register here on Sideways Motorsports under the Fly your Car in Gander menu.

Registration forms and Sponsor sheets are now available online, please visit the links below to obtain them.  Why are we providing a sponsor sheet? As you know this event is being held to help raise funds for the Central Northeast Health Foundation, and through sponsors we help bring in additional funds above the $40.00 registration. Also if you collect more than $40.00 of sponsors, your registration fee is covered by the sponsorship making it free for you to compete.

Fly your Car in Gander

Fly your Car in Gander II is over, and this great charity event was a large success this year with almost $2000 raised for the Central Northeast Health Foundation. We had an epic day of great weather and great driving. A mix of new and experienced drivers ensured our event was the most fun you can have on four wheels.  Check out our photo gallery to see some photos from this years event. And check back often folks, as we have already started planing a event for next 2014 but no dates set yet. Thanks again to all our sponsors and to all the folks who helped out again this year.

Fly your Car in Gander

The 1st annual Fly your Car in Gander event is over. 39 drivers helped raise over $2200 for the Central Northeast Health Foundation.

Everybody was impressed with the track and the weather actually co-operated. Many thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors for this event.

A special thanks to the volunteer marshals who stood in the hot sun for hours watching us tear up the runway. Special thanks to Hubert McGrath for contributing to the photos
