Fly your Car in Gander IX presented by Action Car and Truck Accessories gets the green light from the Town of Gander, and we're back in the Steele Community Centre parking lot for another fun event. This years event will be held on Aug 15th, with gates opening at 8 am and first car should be on course we aim to be at 11 am as per normal.  Registration this year has been set to $50.00 minimum. But again folks, as this is a fundraiser for the Central Northeast Health Foundation, the more you raise the better.

This years event, greatly in question due to COVID-19 pandemic and looked like it was going to be off the table for this year.  But shortly after the announcement of Alert level 2 from our provincial government, the town of Gander reached out and offered us the event we had hoped for.

The event will certainly be different than most years, as spectators are unfortunately unable to attend, and our maximum number of participants cut from 60 to approximately 46. This also means concessions will NOT be sold on site, so bring a snack.  Registration will be 100% online with monies required 24 hours before the event (how to make payment etc will be in your confirmation email once you register). On the day of the event all participants WILL BE REQUIRED to complete a self-assessment on site before entry. Although not mandatory, use of masks during the day will be recommended and physical distancing has to be maintained.

As per usual, the Autocross event will be ran by our wonderful friends at Vinland Motorsport Inc. ensuring the event goes off as safe as possible, and laying out another fun course for all to enjoy in a Atlantic Region Motor Sport Inc. sanctioned autocross event.

We're looking forward to providing a safe, fun and exciting day for all participants and hope to see you there.
